Erin Condren Planner

Happy Monday! I cannot believe it is already December 5th! 20 days till Christmas!

As I was filling in finals dates in my planner it hit me that I have not shared my Erin Condren planner!! I cannot believe I forgot such a thing, because I carry it with me everywhere and contains my life.  At the beginning of the school year I bought the Lilly Pulitzer planner, and thought I was in love.  Once I received it, I liked it, but I didn't love it.  I really liked the main month page that had a full Lilly print, but I did not like the busyness of the rest.  I worked with it for awhile, tried to love it, and then all of a sudden I saw Meghan from little girl in the big world's post about Plum District's deal! It was $25 for $50 for Erin Condren.  I knew this was my chance, because other wise I would not pay $50+ for a planner on a college girl's budget.  I justified the price of $25 because the Lilly planner was originally that price, but I had scored a deal and got it for $15.

It took me forever to decide on a style - It got so bad I had to consult Stephen

I love that the front and back covers are a thick laminate type material = virtually indestructible!

These are the tabs! Love! My only thing is they are starting to bend after being in my purse and it is driving me crazy. If you have a suggestion for protecting these tabs let me know!!!

This is the inside layout.  I really like how it is laid out, but I've had to adjust to the morning, day, night, because sometimes I don't which box is appropriate for things - yes I probably over think it, but it is my organized demeanor.

The planner comes with lots of stickers for you to place in your planner! There are party, game, birthday, play, hair apt, etc! There are even blank ones where you can make your own tabs..brilliant!

I felt like I had to wait forever on the planner, which wasn't true, but I am a very impatient person when I get something in my head that I want aka this planner.  The day I received my planner I had the urged to write in it all day; there is nothing more than this organized, type A, future teacher in me that wanted to write all my due dates, occasions, etc in my very best, neat handwriting.  Only one thing was missing...the perfect pens! When I find a pen I like I use that pen and only that pen, and lately it seemed that all my good pens were missing or dunzo.  I searched and searched with Stephen one night after dinner, and the poor guy had to go everywhere with me - we went to Target, Office Depot, Hobby Lobby, and Office Max.  I could not find these pens anywhere! I was looking for the Stabilo pens that I have seen other bloggers rave about. A few days later I ran into a Staples and they had something similar, and my impatient self couldn't wait so I bought them! Boy am I in love!

Let me tell you, nothing I love more than a good planner and some perfect pens! I smile every time I have to write anything in my planner, or anytime I have to look in it, because it was definitely one of the best decisions I have made planner wise!

What planner do you use?
