Stephen and I had our engagement party right before Halloween! We were hoping that people would not have previous plans, and thankfully they didn't and we had a great turn out. My parents hosted the party and we had everyone over to my house. I didn't have a chance to take pictures before everyone got there and everything looked amazing, so some of the decorations may look "tired" so please excuse [also I need a new camera #christmaslist].
This was on the main table. My mom and I put this together - love it and hope to remember it for years to come! Also, the "G" will be my new last initial!
This was the mantle in the living room. It looked great! All candles were lit and the lights were dimmed.
These were on other tables - we had over 50 people so tables were brought in and unfortunately they were blue. The little pumpkins are actual candles, you couldn't even tell they were candles until they started burning.
All of these were lit, but of course I took these after everyone had left. We had hurricanes filled with acorns and candy corn. Um and did you know what all you have to do to put acorns in your home? My mom had to soak them in water buckets for 48 hours then bake them on cookie sheets two times.
This was on a small table in the kitchen. Excuse all the food, this was when the clean up began [at 1:00am mind you - my mom's a clean freak].

Before everyone left, we asked them to sign their name. I wanted a keepsake to remember who all attended our special night! The picture in the middle is one that my mom had blown up from our engagement photo session.
