9/11

I can't believe it has been 10 years! I remember exactly where I was and details of the days following that tragic day.

When I was in New York this past spring, one of our drivers was a New York policeman who was a first responder on 9/11. Many of his friends and colleagues were not fortunate enough to make it home that day. I got chills as we drove by Ground Zero and he told his story.

The reason all this comes to mind is because of some letters that were featured in Glamour (These on the site are not the same as the issue). I read the letters and started silently crying to myself. What would I say to my family, husband or friends that never made it home that day?

One letter was written to a sister, another to a brother, dad and even a fiance. It is just heartbreaking because of the pain and suffering that affected so many.  I complain because some of my days are long or someone is not the nicest that day but I have so much to be thankful for. Stop and be thankful for what you have!
