So, if you are like me, you spend countless hours scrolling through your favorite clothing websites for the latest deals and steals. Not only are you looking for a great price, but you are looking for something that enhances your wardrobe and puts a little hop and skip into your walk. Sometimes those items that you just HAVE TO HAVE are not exactly on sale. Don't ya hate that. Yeah, me too.
Recently I stumbled upon this awesome site, RetailMeNot. I'm telling you this website was made for people like you and me. This website is dedicated to coupons, and who doesn't love a good discount code. :) RetailMeNot includes stores such as amazon, Victoria's Secret, Chegg (great textbook website), Talbots, Mac Cosmetics, etc. It also includes printable coupons, and coupons for items at the grocery store. So, before you decide to hit the confirmation button to seal your order, check RetailMeNot to save you a few bucks.
Another website that I sometimes play around on is Like.com. Hypothetical situation here, so go with me, let's say that you are in the mall and you see this gorgeous ikat dress that you would just die to have. That's when Like.com comes into play. In the search box, you would simply type "ikat" and select women's dresses. Once you hit search, all clothing items from stores ranging from Kate Spade to Forever 21 pop up with the latest price. This is not only a great way to find that dress that you love, but also to find a dress similar to the one you love at maybe a lower price.
This last website, I have not had as much success with it as some of my friends have, but the website is Shop It To Me. You may have heard about it, but if you haven't look into it. Shop It To Me gives you the chance to select brands that you love, and when something goes on sale in your size that is similar to your criteria chosen, an email will be sent to you alerting you. I gave this website a chance for a few months, and I was never thrilled with any of the alerts I was sent. I would definitely give this website a try though, because you may have better luck than me.
I have heard a lot about Ebates.com, but haven't tried it out myself. If you have used it, let me know what you think! From my friends who have used it, I only hear positive things. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Ebates.com, it is a site that gives you cash back when you purchase from different websites.
I have developed a mentality that I should never have to pay full price for an item, so with that, I have been on the lookout for sites that assist me in finding great deals! If you have a website or a tip for online shopping I would love to hear it. If I collect enough tips I'll do a post publishing all of our tips together for you to use as a resource to save money.
