First Up: Deck

Our first "completed" part of the house is the deck. I use completed lightly because there are still some items we want to get like a dining set and umbrellas. But I am too excited not to share.

Aaron and I love sitting outside. Some of the best memories I have are of the both of us sitting on my front porch in college, spending time with friends. Needless to say, when three separate contractors told us   NOT to step foot on the deck, we knew it was a must fix.

This thing was not even connected to its supports

This was mid-build last week.

Almost there...

Finished product!

The deck was a little dirty after the rain but you get the idea

So excited to have my herb planter back.
