Hello! While coming home from my class trip I received the most exciting news! What might this news be you ask? Well, I got the job of junior counselor at the camp I've been attending for six summers. This made me ecstatic. I honestly don't know how I would function during a summer without camp. The camp I attend is incredible. It is all girls and the counselors and other campers are so much fun to be around! I have made some of the best friends over my years at this camp and miss them so much during the school year. But, fortunately I think we are all getting together over new years! We live semi far apart but last year when we got together over new years we had a blast and there was no way we couldn't do it again this year. What better way to ring in the new year! We host night time events dressed as the Harry Potter cast.
We excel in our activities.
We are leaders of our clubs.
We get a little excited when we win something.
And we are devastated and cry our eyes out when it is time to leave!
No fear, you are sure to hear more and more about camp and the girls I spend my summers with in the future. But for now I'm giddy with the exciting news of getting to be a counselor!
